Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup beef broth or water
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water (for thickening)
2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
Add broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and beef broth. Pour over the beef and broccoli.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve over rice or noodles.
