A man who has gone on an extreme body modification journey has shocked fans by sharing a throwback photo of himself.
Anthony Loffredo, from France, has gone viral on his path to becoming a ‘black alien.’
Over time, he’s had parts of his nose, ears, top lip, and fingers removed and he’s said he’s considered a leg amputation.
His transformation is even more shocking once you see his before photo, which he shared on Instagram.
Reacting to the before image, one fan writes: “You look way cooler now.”
Others have taken to the comments and questioned Loffredo on why he’s made such a drastic transformation, with one follower asking: “You really were handsome, why did you think you weren’t?”
“Live your truth but you were absolutely stunning in your younger years!” says a second.
Somebody else writes: “You didn’t need to do all that, you were already beautiful.”
Loffredo, a tattoo artist and model, acknowledges that his bold look has led to obstacles.
In an interview with LADbible, the body mod fan revealed: “If I want to eat at a restaurant, sometimes the server says I can’t eat on the terrace.”
On an episode of the Club 113 podcast, he elaborated further, saying ‘It’s a fight every day.’
He admitted: “I can’t find a job, there’s lots of negative stuff. It could be positive because you feel better, but you have to know there’s also a dark side.
“I’m a normal guy, I work, I have a family… I like being looked at like a normal guy with a job, with a family, who has a friend, girlfriend, all of that. That’s what makes me normal.”
Seemingly, Loffredo wants to continue his journey, having previously shared ambitious plans.
During a live question and answer on Instagram, he reportedly said he had dreamt of removing his skin and replacing it with metal, per the Mirror.
Yet like many of his followers, the body mod fan agrees that before his transformation, he was a ‘very sexy guy.’
In a Channel 4 documentary, Loffredo said: “But I’m the same person! Same heart! But it’s not my body, my real body.”
Sharing a snap of his before and after transformation, which documents him at 25 and 35 years, Loffredo pens: “Men call me crazy but science has not yet taught us whether or not madness is sublime of intelligence… if everything that is depth does not come from a disease of thought.”
